The older my girls get, the harder it is to find the perfect gift for them. Something I thought was a perfect gift, is really the perfect gift for last year, or the perfect gift for someone younger! Even I have a hard time buying the best gifts for eleven year old girls – and especially if the girl is not in my immediate family! Our family and friends are always looking for gift ideas for the girls….
So, I sat my lovely 11 year old girl down and asked her to tell me all the great things she wants as gifts! And then, I asked her what her friends would like! The holidays are almost upon us, and I am hoping that this list will help lots of you out! My daughters seem to think gift cards are wonderful because they can go shop for 
anything they want. But, in some situations, a gift that is an actual object, that can be properly wrapped is what you need!
Being 11 Years Old
Eleven year old girls are right on the edge of still being a child and wanting to be a teenager. The types of gifts can go either way (kid or teenager), depending on the personality of the girl. My daughter tends to be an older soul, so I would tend to lean towards the older type gifts. I remember being this age and really wanting toys but receiving clothes and stuff that a teenager wants. It was a tough year for me, and I hope to bring some sensitivity to the situation for my daughter!
