Spring cleaning feels amazing after a long, cold, dark winter. What a good feeling to get into all the nooks and crannies and get organized and clean! The other day, I looked in my bathroom cabinet and noticed, apparently for the first time, how many samples of products I have collected. I may have a problem….
The Problem:
It seems that every time I order something, I get free samples with my order. Or, I walk through the mall, and people hand you samples!! And those samples in the hotels jump right into my luggage! So, now I have this amazing collection of samples!! And since I am always hurrying through my daily routine. I forget that these samples are there!
Am I the only one doing this?
The Challenge!
So, my challenge to myself, and to you- to organize all the sames by their type – and then to USE them! All of them, until they are gone!
It took me about three weeks to get through them all. What did I learn? I learned a lot! Like the fact that I LOVE the products I use all the time. And I missed some of them while I was getting through my sample collection. Some of the samples I figure they gave away because there is no one buying those products. For good reason! Some of the samples I might be willing to try again. And some of them I might go right out and purchase.
The bottom line for me is that I cleaned out my cosmetic cabinet! I tried some new products that I don’t ever need to wonder if I would like them or not, and made a list of things NOT to buy!
I challenge you to try the same Spring Cleaning and see what you find!
Ha! Love it! I don’t personally have that issue but my husband does. He travels a lot and always brings home the hotel shampoo & lotion. I try to get something our of his side of the bathroom cupboard and all of it falls out! When I do get samples I give them to my daughter. She loves to try new items. I’m pretty stuck on what I already use.
