Ten Amazing Air Fryer Recipes to try!

January 7, 2019 by chris@merrittandco.com

Having an air fryer is so much fun, and so much healthier for you! Learning to cook with it isn’t hard, but takes a bit of practice. I will admit that I stopped using mine for a while because I fell back into my old way of cooking, which is not necessarily a good thing. I gathered up a bunch of amazing recipes to help inspire my air fryer cooking again, and I thought I should share!

Air Fryer by Cooks Essentials

This collection of recipes is not your average collection! I have seen so many ways to make chicken in the air fryer, but I am always in need to good snacks , side dishes and vegetables, so that I what I gathered! Just add this list to your meal planning for the week!

I got my air fryer a couple of years ago when they were pretty new to the small kitchen appliance game. My air fryer also came with a cookbook, but was not really thrilled with the ideas for meals that were in the book. Looking for recipes online has yielded much better results for my family’s eating style!

This is the exact air fryer that I own. It is from Cooks Essentials, a brand that I have used for years. I got my air fryer in turquoise, which makes it that much more fun to use! 🙂

Using the air fryer means that you control how much oil goes into these foods. I rarely use much oil, and if I do add oil, I use a spritzer to just spray a VERY small amount of oil on my foods. The benefit of the air fryer is that your foods will get crispy WITHOUT needing much oil. A tiny bit of oil will go a long way in the air fryer. It is pretty awesome actually!
